“Jesus says, ‘I know you have sinned, and I know that you’ve broken the Law, that you’ve broken the commands of God…’ And in His loveliness and His greatness, and in His power, He says, ‘…but I’ll pay for it. You won’t have to. Because I’m your Redeemer; I’m the one who redeems you to the Lord.’

“And sometimes we think, ‘Well, I don’t know, I’m not feeling like I’m in touch with God like I should.’ Well, redemption puts you in touch with God! As a believer, you should never feel like you’re out of touch with God. Because He never moves.”

“Moving Forward 2017: Communion,” Pastor Jerry Davis, Sunday, May 7, 2017 a.m.

“Communion is really an act of understanding the victory that we have in the Lord Jesus Christ. We’re not dwelling on His death anymore, because we know as believers that Jesus Christ is not dead and in the tomb, but He arose – and He arose alive.”
