“Now, He’s welcome in this room, but more than anything else, He’s welcome in this place right here – I’m talking about my spirit man, I’m talking about my heart – He’s welcome. And for Him to give me that gift is awesome! For Him to give you that gift is awesome! Because the wonder of it is this: that an eternal God says, ‘I’m going to put Me inside of you,’ and He’s going to be with us every day, every moment.”

“Moving Forward 2017: Easter Prayer at the Cross,” Pastor Jerry Davis, Sunday, April 9, 2017 a.m.
“Prayer is not about what you want. Prayer is about God wants—and you have to want God wants, for when you pray, you’re praying for the will of God to be done. God has a will for you, and prayer has to be coupled with ‘not my will, but Thy will.’
“We have to surrender our will to His will. If the cross teaches us anything, it is this: God’s will is the only will we have to follow.”
