“Prayer is not about what you want. Prayer is about God wants—and you have to want God wants, for when you pray, you’re praying for the will of God to be done. God has a will for you, and prayer has to be coupled with ‘not my will, but Thy will.’

“We have to surrender our will to His will. If the cross teaches us anything, it is this: God’s will is the only will we have to follow.”
